The Copper Note: events and weekly regulars in Prescott, AZ

The Copper Note is a contemporary American restaurant at 120 W Gurley St in Prescott, Arizona, on the top floor of the historic Burmister Building overlooking Courthouse Square. The name nods to Arizona copper and to the notes of food, wine and spirits, and the room plays both tunes at once.

Where is The Copper Note?

It is upstairs on the top floor of the historic Burmister Building, with views over Courthouse Square.

What usually happens at The Copper Note?

  • Sunday brunch comes with jazz. Weekend brunch is served, and a live jazz trio plays on Sundays.
  • The bar runs Wednesday to Sunday. Full bar service, craft cocktails and a wine list.
  • Scratch made, made to order. Grass fed steaks, wild caught seafood, soups, salads, pasta and burgers, with gluten free options.

A little history

The Copper Note opened in October 2025 on the top floor of the Burmister Building. Owners Michele and Stephen Sullins previously ran Sound Bites Grill in Sedona.

Insider tip

Ask for a seat with a Courthouse Square view. The owners say the New England clam chowder, the Voodoo Pasta and the ahi tuna poke are the dishes that resonate most with guests.
